RESIGNATION 7"
"Resignation" is Axebreaker’s most concise and focused statement to date: a raw chronicle of disillusionment in a time of social collapse. Presented as a double-sided 7” lathe and live C30 cassette housed in a 7”x7” box with folded poster, this limited edition of 25 offers no comfort, no redemption. Begun as an album, in 2022, and honed over the years and mutated into this brief assault.

This release serves as both a document of an evolution of disillusionment and a defiant statement. Resignation does not whisper its intent—it explodes from the start. There is no subtlety here, and that’s the point. Resignation is a refusal—a rejection of the false choices offered by collapsing institutions, authoritarianism, and the illusion of participation. Axebreaker’s sound has always been political, however this is not a manifesto - it’s an autopsy. And what remains is corrosion, distortion, and disgust.

LIVE ASSAULT XI (c30)
In 2023, AXEBREAKER was invited to play a few dates with UK doom industrial band KHOST, to prepare AXEBREAKER composed two different sets for these shows. These sets were mirror images of each other composed with both ambience and intense noise power-electronics trading off in places with different sets.

LIVE ASSAULT XI is the second document from these sets. On LIVE ASSAULT XI, SIDE A presents a brutal live set recorded in Spring 2023 from AXEBREAKER's assault at Ortlieb's in Philadelphia, PA. While SIDE B contains a document of a rehearsal for this show straight from the mixer.
